Osteoporosis Warning Signs

Osteoporosis Risk Factors
Back to Osteoporosis

You may want to keep the following osteoporosis warning signs in mind in the event that you or a loved one experiences the following:

  • Bone fractures, especially of the hip, spine or wrist
  • Change in posture
  • Sudden back pain
  • Loss of height

Often there are no symptoms or warning signs for osteoporosis until late in the progression of the disease. Osteoporosis can be caught early by having an osteoporosis risk analysis. Early detection allows physicians to take action, if necessary, with appropriate treatment.
